Simplifying Beauty is a lash extension and spray tan salon located in the always growing community of O’Fallon, IL. We are in business for one reason – to create an opportunity to help women feel beautiful, confident, and empowered. We offer our clients the best in lash extensions and spray tans services primarily focusing on the guest experience. At Simplifying Beauty, we go above and beyond to make our clients feel like more than just an appointment because our team is dedicated to providing excellent customer service. We remember them by name and make a point to get to know their interests, their family, and their lives. You will often find us complementing our clients’ outfits, or asking them about their upcoming plans, possibly inquire how a recent special event went so they feel special and adored from start to finish.

*We are not a full-service salon and do not offer hair services (styling/cutting/coloring). We are not looking to include it on our menu.*
Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

Properly and proficiently perform salon services including lash extensions, spray tans, facial waxing, tints, laminations, and lash lifts following Simplifying Beauty's protocols.

Create excellent client experience for every client, every time, including a thorough consultation and education about services and aftercare.

Provide follow-ups in the form of handwritten notes and phone calls.

Have complete knowledge of all services and products after training.
-
Perform prep work, properly clean, and restock as required by law and the salon's practices and policies; inform management when stock is low.

Chart all treatments and services in the client's profile.
-
Complete the opening and closing of the salon at appropriate times and according to salon's standard operating procedures.

Receive client feedback/complaints and direct them to management for resolution.

Actively promote the treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.

Accurately book, change and cancel salon appointments.

Check out clients quickly and correctly to avoid company loss.

Operate phone systems and booking software accurately and efficiently.

Follow and maintain all policies in the company manual.

Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the salon that require attention.

Skill Required/Desired:
-
Both experienced and newly graduated IL licensed estheticians and cosmetologists welcomed to apply!

No experience with lash extensions or spray tanning is needed - industry leading training is provided.

Applicants must be highly motivated, eager to learn, reliable and enthusiastic.

Must be able to maintain a clean and professional workspace and appearance.

One year experience with customer service preferred.

Salary:
Starting at $13.00 per hour + tips
